I really hope Disney doesn’t screw this up.

Ive never read these books yet but what im seeing is disney is desperate for a good franchise they are purchasing rights to a franchise that only has 2/5 books even released. I dont know how long these books are but let’s hope the author can crank them out with a good level of quality and story telling and gets to enjoy sales of the book before the movies cut into the book sales of the later books.

Disney did serious screening. Now they want control. Failure is written all over it.

JK should have never gone near this. 😪

        It’s another author entirely:
Impossible Creatures by acclaimed author Katherine Rundel

So they are going to trash this too?

    To little way to late,

Why does Disney have to fricken own everything?! Definitely yes they will trash it with woke, leftwing, DEI crud. I don’t trust Disney any more than I can throw a feather to do anything right.

How did she not know this? Im disappointed. 😪

So I’m guessing you teach your children to hate people, DEI removal is why white women were fired
Leftwing? Remember that when your party throws you under the bus for the top 1%

Disney is already making Percy Jackson TV show, idk why they didn’t treat that like their rival to Harry Potter. Percy Jackson has fun world building and gripping story telling that genuinely had the chance to be the next Harry Potter if Disney made it a high quality movie saga instead of a Disney+ exclusive TV show. Plus, Percy Jackson and Harry Potter were always battling it out for the best middle grade fantasy series back in the day. Anyway, doesn’t matter, Disney will probably ruin it anyway

  9. Outline of the story gives me Neverending Story vibes. !!

“ Disney, which has never had a fantasy saga of this scale under its own umbrella”

Percy Jackson and The Chronicles of Narnia would like to have a word.

Didn’t they do Narnia as well

Hilarious how Disney STILL hasn’t learned with the other failures they backed recently. Go woke go broke. No one cares about this absolutely tripe. The remake no one asked for because film companies are too lazy to back new endeavors
