A new wave of price hikes is in effect at Walt Disney World Resort, affecting everything from parking and dining to actual theme park tickets. The most expensive ticket option for Magic Kingdom has jumped over $200, with Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT all also seeing their own bumps.

Annual passes also rose in price, as did select add-ons like Lightning Lane and special tours.

These price hikes also affect popular items inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, like custom droids and lightsabers.

When making a custom droid at Droid Depot, guests have a number of models and options to choose from. Once complete, guests can traverse the park with their new friend in hand or on the ground beside them, as each droid comes with a remote control.

Prices for buildable droids at Droid Depot have risen by $10 from $119 to $129. More on Droid Depot:

Assemble a Custom Astromech Unit

Visit a workshop stocked with parts, chips, manuals and other tech items useful for constructing your very own droid, one of the galaxy’s most indispensable sidekicks.

First, register your choice of the BB-series unit or R-series unit with the clerk, who’ll provide a basket and blueprint for parts. Next, proceed to the following stations and begin your droid-building experience.

Guests also have the option to build their own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop. This experience has become an iconic part of Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, allowing guests to immerse themselves in their own Star Wars story.

The buildable lightsaber experience has increased by $25, rising from $249 to $274. More on Savi’s Workshop:

Choose Your Path

Travel to Black Spire Outpost, where a group known as the “Gatherers” ushers you into a covert workshop packed with unusual parts, whimsical pieces and miscellaneous memorabilia collected from the far reaches of the galaxy.

Under their guidance, you can construct your very own lightsaber and bring it to life through the power of kyber crystals. Builders beware—you must protect the shop’s secrecy to avoid being discovered by the First Order!

Once your lightsaber is complete (purchase required!), you’ll be ready to embark on incredible new adventures—from the far reaches of Wild Space to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opened in 2019 at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Both lands are essentially exact copies of each other, albeit with slightly differing paint jobs and details. Both versions of the land feature Savi’s Workshop and Droid Depot and two “E-ticket” attractions, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run.

Rise of the Resistance consistently ranks as one of the most popular rides at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland, and is one of the most expensive ride options when it comes to booking Lightning Lane passes.
