Seems crazy to raise prices when many of the attractions are closed for refurbishment or renovation. Not as much to do, so charge more??? Not for me. I could afford it but, at some point, it doesn’t make economical sense to pay that much for something that has decreased in value through lack of maintenance and upkeep as well as the construction closures. I have heard many people say that the there are parts of the park that look unkempt and not up to the standards that used to be part of the magic. Sad.
Guess I have made my last trip there. Busch gardens is a much better deal for me as a veteran. They give me 4 free one day passes a year & have for quite a while. FLY NAVY!!!
My Great Grandfather was C. Geier. Head Brick Mason and friend to Walt when the parks were built in Florida and California. My Great grandparents raised my grandmother in a Disney family as did my grandmother after with her children and then my mother, Aunt and Uncle did the same. Myself and cousins followed with ours. My three have been with their 6 (to date). The stupidity of big changes being done, some of which by majority not wanted being funded by prices that no one can in this day afford for families is the last straw. It ends a long family heritage with Disney but we will no longer be supporting the ludicrous changes this company has done to the legacy over all.
Ya’ll need to quit complaining. You make it seem like raising prices is exclusive to Disney, if you don’t see it in all other aspects of your life then maybe you don’t deserve to have nice things.
I think the issue is prices going up when so many things are closed. Went to Epcot during construction years ago and going past construction walls was not the experience I wanted. With so many attractions closed, the lines just get longer and it seems that increases should wait until more is available.
Wait, are you that same nutty Anonymous person that rages against corporate greed?? You almost sound normal and rational here. New Meds? Keep up the good work!
Parking at Walt Disney World in 2000 cost $5.00 !
& i got non park hopper 4 multiday discount tickets – each day it was about $30 to get into a Disney Park & hardly any attraction breakdowns. + free in person only/that day only paper fast passes. It was great b4 Steve Jobs ruined EVERYTHING.

They are going to price themselves out of business at this rate. People can’t afford all that with everything else going up as well!

Wow. Just lost 12 people here. We will definitely change our vacation plans now. Looks like I’ve been my last time already.
