I really don’t think Josh would be a good pick as the next CEO. He worked to closely with the fired one. I for one agreed Kimmel should have stayed off the air. His remarks about the assignation were cruel.
Josh D’Maro is a “Yes” man. He follows any directive given, by whoever is in the CEO chair. He doesn’t make his own decisions. He would not be right for the job.

Any comments Iger makes about the next CEO could impact Disney’s stocks and may lead to FTC involvement. Not a fan of Iger’s but he may have had a cold response cuz he’s tired of being asked questions about his replacement. I also question D’Amaro being put in the big chair. While his leadership in the parks has been positive, this does not translate to good leadership for the company as a whole.
It will be a good day when Bob Iger retires. I think Disney needs to go outside for their next CEO. All of the leading internal candidates lack the vision to restore Disney to its former greatness and restore the trust of Disney’s loyal guests, and they have all been corrupted in their thoughts and decision-making by working too closely with Bob Iger. Disney’s embrace of the wrong side of the culture war in all it does has left it a shell of what it once was. Who can name a recent Disney blockbuster? Why is park attendance so depressingly low? The answer is Disney has alienated half of America.
