Very sad to hear people taking their lives at a place with children. That’s pretty selfish. On the other hand, maybe the resort and ticket prices… Let’s hope not. People, if you feel suicidal, please reach out and get assistance. You’ll overcome everything with time. For those of us affected by suicide, please don’t make it the last thing your loved ones get to remember. They will miss you, but they’ll hate you and themselves even more for not seeing your mental health issues and not doing something about them before it’s too late.

Saying it was because of the high prices makes your other comments hypocritical. Be better.

We just had the orange man destroy the wing used by everyday citizens to visit the White House so that he can wine and dine the billionaire class, so perhaps you need to think bigger regarding where we are headed with these higher prices.

Grow up. You sound like a crying baby with your unclever and immature comment.

          1. Paul W

Agreed. Please keep politics out of these threads.

          2. Matt

As opposed to your dumb comment… how’s it feel being part of the problem?

The democrats in 2010 did remodeling as well. But that was ok. Trump is paying for this

          1. Matt

Remodeling vs destroying decades of history. Stop acting like general required maintenance is the same as this nonsense. Its also cute you think he is paying for it. Why, because the guy that was DOCUMENTED lying his first term over 10,000 time told you so?

        3. Nancy

You sound like a real big idiot

Way to ruin a thread AA

It is sad that people take their own lives. If you feel suicidal get help reach out to friends, family, or suicidal hotlines. My prayers go out to these people who took their lives at Disney. And to those, this is not a political site, so stop adding politics in your comments, grow up! Stick with the question or statement at hand!

I don’t like trump, never did, but lets keep things logical. What I don’t like is the reporting of the incident seemingly like it was disney’s fault.
Please if a person wants to die they’ll find a way.
Why at Disney who knows ? Only that person or maybe family members know, anyone else is guessing. But there is hacks out there looking to blame Disney, or any corporation to collect a payoff. I am not saying this is the case here, but unless a Disney employee pushed him off a balcony, there is no fault on Disney’s part of it was a jumper, lets wait until all the information is collected.

How is this political? The TDS out there is unbelievable. This had NOTHING to do with politics other than if this was a suicide it just confirms there is alot of unchecked and untreated behavior health issues out there that need to be addressed.

Just can’t help yourself can you. Have to make everything about your president. Grow up.

          1. Carly

            Hear hear

Just go somewhere else with your political vitriol…please…just go.

        9. MRH

What does that have to do with Disney. You need to get a life.

  2. Paul W

So the staff creates a Streisand effect by telling people not to look out their windows without explaining why. Brilliant.

    1. Nancy

That would make me want to look out the window more!

People in comments. Stop jumping to conclusions when no information is given. This is very damaging to Disney. I know many don’t care but I do. I love Disney. It’s the most magical place on Earth so to have it tainted leaves me to ask you, “Where else can a person go to escape to a place that takes you away for a time?” This is Walt’s vision and it’s out of control by those he didn’t make the parks for.

Medical emergencies happen all the time. Why would anyone jump straight suicide? The crime scene tape is pretty far from the building. Did the person jump, flynout 50+ feet then go down? Its a hot humid environment and Americans are morbidly obese. Its the perfect recipe for a heart attack or maybe they had a health condition? No reason to speculate. Its sad someone died, especially when probably on vacation with their family. Theres 4-6 deaths a year at Disney, those are the ones they report.

    1. Nancy

Yet here you are speculating the person was obese..

  5. Carol

    Geez

  6. Jennifer Lower

We have a mental health crisis in America that is not veing addressed.

  7. Philip

I for one am unimaginably relieved that Insidethemagic is on top of this crazy string of deaths at WDW. I mean, where are the cast members while all this happens? You just can’t hire good help any more.

  8. Sean

WTH is going on over there in Orlando with these theme parks lately??? First that poor guy dies on that rollercoaster @ Epic Universe, then some kid got seriously injured on one of the rides @ USF, then that lady who jumped to her death from that WDW hotel this past month, and now THIS??? 😵‍💫 Geez, it’s almost as if these theme parks have become CURSED! 😳

  9. Kathy

They could have been attacked by an alligator. We know nothing yet.
