Disney World has made Lightning Lane passes necessary for any trip, as long as you’re willing to pay the price. Disney knows this, and without warning or explanation, it continually raises the prices for its Lightning Lane passes.

Now that we’re in the middle of September, Disney expects significantly lower crowds; therefore, it has lowered the prices for all Lightning Lane passes. Disney also knows when to expect high crowds, and now we know just how much Disney plans on charging those crowds to use the Lightning Lane.

While the Lightning Lane prices remain relatively steady throughout September, the prices start to tick up in early October. Disney expects larger crowds over Columbus Day Weekend and the weekends leading into Halloween. Early November brings New Jersey Teacher’s Weekend and Veterans Day, ending with Thanksgiving, which will continue to increase the crowds.

So, here’s what you’ll expect to pay for Lightning Lane at Disney World. For a Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Magic Kingdom on September 14, you’d pay $27—that increases to $37 on October 4, the first Saturday of the month.

At EPCOT, the current price is $19, which will increase to $26 on October 4. You’ll pay $27 for Hollywood Studios, which increases to $29. Finally, the current price at Animal Kingdom is $17, which increases to $22.

Disney World’s Lightning Lane Premier Pass will increase to its highest levels since the Fourth of July weekend in early October.

The price at Magic Kingdom increases from $379 on September 14 to $429 on October 4. EPCOT’s cost rises from $189 to $239. Hollywood Studios’ price increases from $329 to $339, and Animal Kingdom’s price increases from $179 to $189.

So, if you’re heading to Disney World this fall, be ready for these increases. Lightning Lane prices are only available through October 5, which means they will go even higher as the parks get busier.
