GOOD GRIEF! Get a life or at least a sense of humor. Do you even know how many restaurants nationwide, or even worldwide, serve octopus as a dish or even as a drink adornment?

    1. Pete

Stop stop stop already haven’t you woke weirdos destroyed enough at Disney, now you are going to dictate menus and what should be on them. The woke crowd destroyed splash mountain , made changes to Indiana Jones show, claimed the haunted mansion was too scary and many other things. How about this ! Just stay home were you are safe from normal society and let Walts dream become a true reality, you people are NUTS!

  3. Chris B

Ok this is where Disney needs to actually grow a set and not give in to the easily offended humanoids. Just tell them “clearly this menu item isnt for you so don’t order it”

    1. Lisa

Agree!!!! Disney stop pandering to the small group of constant complainers!

So, now we are only allowed to eat “dumb” species?!?! If that’s the case, these “critics” might want to hide 😂 Seriously though, octopus is eaten quite commonly around the world, so can we call this racial discrimination? 😏 It’s way overdue for not bending to the loud minority and about time we stand up for the majority’s reality. So done with people fatigue ☠️

    1. Jack j

      That was my thought.
So, it’s only okay to eat the dumb species?
It’s called “The Beak and Barrel”. That means I assume they have birds on the menu. I hope they only have dumb chickens and even dumber turkey, or they may have a riot of triggered guests. 🙄

  5. Pamela

Until I understood the intelligence of octopuses I wouldn’t have flinched at eating them, now I absolutely refuse. Get it off the menu NOW!!!

    1. Dave

So you don’t like it nobody should. Got it.

    2. Brooke

I agree with you. I watched a documentary on an octopus, on Netflix. They’re extremely intelligent. The guy who went diving, the octopus would recognize him and come to him to visit. Using an appendage of theirs as merely decoration seems barbaric. Make an octopus shaped cookie or something, put that in the drink. Make it fun, not gross.

      1. BARRY

It’s not just a “decoration”, you actually eat it!! Ever had calamari???

    3. Jay

      Cows are pretty smart.

    4. Jack j

But you thought it was okay when you thought they were “dumb”?
Just don’t eat animals if you’re going to react like that.

  6. Dave

“It’s like eating a dog’s leg”? How does this guest know this? Amazing how some people will complain about anything. Don’t like it, don’t go there.

  7. lmariel

If you don’t like it, don’t order it. What’s next, calamari?

  8. Stephen J. Arti

The first time I ate calamari, I got a real sad look on My face….My friend asked what’s wrong? and I told Him I just noticed the little tentacles……He thought for a second and said “It’s Ok…..It would have grown up and attacked a Ship”.

  9. Bear

It’s food you bleeding hearts !!!

  10. Janet K. Haeussermann

Get a life, people! Unless you’re a vegan, doesn’t everything on a menu come from living creatures??

    1. Brenda

Vegans eat plants. Plants are living creatures. Guess they should eat rocks only.

  11. Mark Woitha

People yall need to get a grip. Octopus is a delicacy in many restaurants around the world. I’d it triggers you that much don’t order it but don’t ruin it for everyone else that likes it.

  12. C

I’ve read pigs are very intelligent, i dont recall outrage about pork on a menu!!
Its not that complex, if ya dont like it dont order it or if ya dont like the menu selections choose one of the MANY other restaurants….simple solution..

  13. Lorrie Orange

Seriously get a life. You don’t like it don’t eat it. Move on. People eat it all the time as well as calamari. Not something I would try but to each his own. Stop trying to insinuate yourself into other people’s lives.

  14. Walt

“Eating one of these is like eating the leg of a dog.

Mmmmmm Dog Leg – that sounds delicious. They have that on the menu at the Korean pavilion!

GROW UP! Stupid Delicate Fragile WIMPS

  15. Patti

I don’t personally eat quite a few things for ethical reasons. However, I wouldn’t presume to force my code upon others. Restaurants can serve what they want as long as it falls within accepted cultural guidelines. Most Western countries serve horse, but that is not culturally acceptable in the US so I would not expect to see it on a menu. I hope that so few people order this octopus dish that the economic factor would create a change in the menu.

    1. Jack j

After reading the description and seeing the picture of the dish, I was thinking it may not be a financially viable food offering for the restaurant.

  16. Cindy

If you don’t like it, don’t order it. Simple as that
A small but loud group of people have gotten used to demanding and getting changes that affect all of us. Sure hope that stops !!
I personally don’t like the idea of eating certain things but I know that many people do. So you know what? I don’t order or eat them. My choice!!

  17. Paul W

Octopus is not an endangered species and most of the creature is used for consumption. They don’t just take one tentacle and waste the rest. This isn’t like shark fin, people.

    1. Maria

I seriously hope that Disney Woke will finally tell these people to shut up. Octopus is a delicacy. If we keep catering to this mentality then this country is doomed. If you don’t like it don’t eat it. Stop telling the rest of us what we can do. You are all ignorant of reality. Please go back to the cave you came from. The audacity of the woke to demand anything

  18. Tony

So let me get this straight. If an animal shows signs of intelligence we shouldn’t eat it? So pretty much every animal out there is off the list. That includes cows, pigs and fish. The only animals out there that show no signs of intelligence are democrats. They don’t even know what a woman is.

  19. lisa Bivona

ever eat, beef, pork, chicken, turkey…think all slaughter is inhumane but we still eat.

  20. Alice

Oh my gosh!!!!Really get over yourselves or rather get off the social media platform. It’s all for attention and views. All around the world countries eat things to westerners are well yuck. But each to their own. Seafood of all kinds is a delicacy and sort after. Don’t like it but don’t judge people who do. I would try it just once

  21. Jay

The people complaining about octopus probably did so as they ate a hamburger from McDonalds.

  22. D

As a vegetarian I don’t eat meat or fish, anyways, but what is so different eating octopus, than a chicken leg or snails?
    Octopus fits the theme.

  23. Kathy

Don’t like it don’t order it or even look at it. 🙄

  24. JW

Calamari (squid) is eaten at many restaurants in Florida, Octopus and squids, Not to confuse they are not of the same family but they are of the same class Cephalopod. So what’s the deal.

  25. Bradford

In terms of intelligence, what’s the difference between an octopus and a cow? If you are not Vegan, you are a hypocrite.

  26. N

So you don’t want to eat it because it’s intelligent. Ok so guess what, cows are actually intelligent, pigs actually demonstrate intelligence, chickens..yup display intelligence, fish, omg they also demonstrate intelligent traits. If it has a brain it can display intelligence….so I guess you need to stop eating, because before you cry, well ill just become a vegan or vegetarian, guess what. PLANTS SHOW INTELLIGENCE, it’s even been demonstrated plants experience pain. So I guess you can stop eating because by your logic nothing that has intelligence can be eaten.

If you don’t like it. Don’t eat it. But stop telling people what they can and can’t do. That’s one of the biggest issues in this world now. Everyone is in everyone else’s business but can’t keep their own house in order.
I don’t like it either buy its only because it just looks gross. So I will not order it. But you know what i won’t do, I won’t tell someone else they can’t have it, cuz it’s none of my business and doesn’t affect my life whatsoever. Stupid cancel culture nonsense
