It’s 2025, and we have people actually angry about a black man playing the role of a professor, that was previously played by a white man? What do they think is the difference between the 2 races? There are none. And by the way, these m orons need to get a life, get a job, work at a charity, foster a dog, something that actually contributes to the world. Racists.

Hey Brooke, would you also be be boo hooing if they race swapped an originally black character for a white? DEI causes racism by pretty much saying black is better than white. We do not have to have black people in every stinking movie, especially in those supposed to be set back before the spread of multiple races across the world. GROW UP.

Hey St*pid Leftist, yes we’re sick of race swapping. Why don’t you stop being ra*cist against white people and go touch grass!

I agree Brooke, mor ons like you should stop being racist.

It’s not racist to object to deviation from the character’s description in the book… Especially when it was obviously done for social-political DEI reasons. This is enough of a controversy to keep me from watching it.

No one can fill Allen Rickman’s shoes! He was the one and only Prof. Snipe. Played the role in all the Harry Potter films. You should not have changed him. Iam sure Paapa is a good actor, give him another role, not this one. Whenever Studios change something in a film it flops.I am a big HP fan, but not this time, if you can’t keep a memory alive!

I boycott any film that raceswaps a character. You want to stick blaxs in every freaking film for the sake of st*pid diversity to please the left-wing side you make new characters and don’t change what’s already there. White Lives Matter To, remember that! I’ve even seen comments from nice, normal black folks who don’t approve of race swapping and feel that everything has gotta be black!! Therefore not only is DEI upsetting the whites but the blacks to! DEI is only for the left!

How about have some originality and make a different show? And you can make any characters you want. But you choose to put it under the harry potter flag.Because you think people are going to just watch it because it says harry potter. There are so many fans that love all of the characters and all of it.And when you change things like that and change characters, you p*** people off.I will not be watching.I will enjoy the originals. The way that it was supposed to be. That’s been the problem with all of the shows you stick it under the star wars flag and think people are going to be okay with it.Nope.Now you just p***** everybody off that loves and cares for star wars. And has been following it since nineteen seventy. How about have some originality?Put whoever you want in a show and good luck and see if people will watch it. Stop ruining established franchises with certain characters period!

Who gives a running jump,it’s a character in a book ,not a real person, you can swap any characters from black to white and vise versa,it doesn’t make a difference to the story so long as the acting is strong, loosen up and enjoy life a little bit
