This isn’t such a great idea. Without Blizzard Beach Typhoon Lagoon is really going to get/be jam packed and hard to enjoy any of the water slides/lazy river/wave pool. I wonder what’s going to take place (if anything) of Blizzard Beach? Are they going to make a new waterpark (which I doubt)? What else can they put in that area of Disney?

They do this every year as the slow season approaches. There is no need for two water parks over the winter months.

They are more interested in getting our money than giving us a wonderful experience. The prices are getting so high that an average family cannot afford to go and experience the entire WDW complex.
Won’t be long until they are strictly for the rich and elite. Just take the ticket price up to $500 per day and get it over with.

The world needs ditch diggers too Rick…pick up your shovel.

Can someone tell me what is so different about Disney waterparks vs others available around the country that would warrant going? I haven’t been to either one because I figure they’re not unique experiences.

And I might have checked them out when we went to WDW back in May, but that free entry on check in day ONLY was a complete dud offer since our flights landed after lunch and they close at what, 5pm?! What was meant to be a PR move backfired for those of us it completely left out due to arrival times. No grace was given, just “Too bad”.

Actually we were there yesterday and had a blast! People are so negative and joyless.
