The Christmas season is almost here for Walt Disney World, with the resort preparing for its most magical and most crowded time of the year. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party kicks off in November, allowing guests to embrace the magic of the holidays at Magic Kingdom.
However, there are all kinds of other festive treats and goodies to enjoy during the holiday season.
Jollywood Nights also begins in November. This Christmas-themed event is hosted at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, offering guests a very different kind of party. While featuring classic Christmas decor and treats, Jollywood Nights is a little more upscale than Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
“Step into a shimmering scene and show off your unique style,” says Disney when describing the event. “Experience an evening of festive fun—with a ticket to Disney Jollywood Nights.”
Part of Jollywood Nights is Jazzy Nights, which is an adult-oriented lounge experience held at The Hollywood Brown Derby, a popular sit-down restaurant at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
While the restaurant’s atmosphere changes during the holidays, so does its menu. Disney World recently unveiled the official options for Jazzy Nights at The Hollywood Brown Derby.

Hollywood Brown Derby has been operating since 1989, the same year Disney’s Hollywood Studios, then Disney MGM Studios, opened its gates. The park has certainly changed in big ways over the last few decades, with Disney ditching the movie studio/backlot theming and leaning more on recognizable IP, though Hollywood Brown Derby still harkens back to a simpler time for the park.
Featuring glamorous old-school dishes like the classic Cobb salad or Faroe Island salmon, The Hollywood Brown Derby is one of the more luxurious and notorious eateries at Walt Disney World.
