It never did leave and is open right now. I was at the 75th of WDW in 2046 and it’s still there. Same with Disneyland’s centennial in 2055. There is no Tiana. In 2046 Disney had a big celebration for the centennial of Song of the South, too.
Disney just needs to grow a set of balls and not give in to the easiluy offended and those that love to conveniently thrust that worn out race card in the air whenever they dont agree with something.
James Baskett was prohibited from attending the film’s premiere in Atlanta, Georgia, because Atlanta was racially segregated by law.
This movie is best Zip-a-Dee-Doo-GONE!
In all honesty who cares anymore? Disney world is a ghost town the attendance has gotten worse than when covid was around. Nobody cares about Disney anymore they drained the river they’re tearing down the island and just making it nuts. All they’re trying to do is sell you 190 to $200 ticket to get in and then they want you to spend another $400 on a lightning line so you’re paying close to $600 a day. I know if you got an annual pass you can stay in play more but still it’s nothing but a money grab. Save your money save your sanity save yourself a lot of pain and just go to universal.
Most people didn’t have an issue with Splash Mountain. Most people are tired of hearing the race card excuse for everything. It happened. That is how life was at the time. Times change, but history remains. There is no denying it. We need to learn from the past, not bury it in the sand so we can ignore it.

All I can say is James Baskett deserved his Academy Award and “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” will forever be a classic.

Nothing wrong with the movie and Disney has no right to withhold it. It will be released and it‘a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Immortal.

I hope we won’t prevent Splash Mountain from returning in its original form

What if we hope that the original Song of the South version of Splash Mountain would return someday?

We hope that the original Song of the South version of Splash Mountain would return to Walt Disney World and Disneyland someday.

Maybe Splash Mountain could be making a surprise return to Disney Parks someday soon.
