Although the Disney parks are filled with magic and pixie dust, that doesn’t mean things always go according to plan. In the past, we have seen rude guests argue in line, fights break out, and even fires start at the parks and resorts.

These issues seem to be highlighted even further thanks to social media, though sometimes, good things still can happen. In a year-old incident at Disneyland Paris, one brave guest took action after spotting a small fire during a performance.

The incident happened during the resort’s Dream & Shine Brighter Parade and, as shown in a TikTok from @inpixieitrust, one “heroic” guest stepped in to help:

A fire broke out while we were watching the Dream & Shine Brighter Parade @disneylandparis last Saturday…. Luckily, one guest reacted very quickly

As you can see, a brave guest stepped in, and on, in order to save the day. While the fire was small, it still could have led to a big headache for park staff and other guests, at the park.

The exact cause of the fire was unknown though it was believed to be started by a firework or some other pyrotechnic in the area. Over the years, similar instances of rogue fireworks or other effects causing chaos at the Disney theme parks have gone viral on social media.

Perhaps the best example is when the surrounding area of Seven Dwarfs Mine Train caught fire in 2014. Embers from the fireworks at the park gave way to a small fire at the popular roller coaster after landing on a building outside the attraction.

Thankfully nothing seemed to be damaged in the video.

More recently, a fire alarm was tripped at Disneyland, prompting gallons of water to be dumped into one of the resort’s theaters.
