While there’s never truly a “bad” time to take a Disney vacation, certain seasons of the year can feel even more magical, especially the holidays. From Easter to Thanksgiving, Disney hosts all kinds of fun, limited-time events for guests to enjoy.
By far one of the biggest celebrations of the year is Disney’s annual Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. On certain nights between August and October, guests have the opportunity to experience Magic Kingdom in a brand-new way. Disney’s original Florida theme park also transforms significantly for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
However, for many travelers, choosing where to spend New Year’s Eve is the most crucial decision. Not only is it one of the busiest holidays of the year, but it also marks a new chapter for everyone who celebrates, ushering in a brand-new year. Guests can ring in the new year at all of Disney’s theme parks, from Disneyland in California to Tokyo Disney in Japan.
However, those looking to take a trip to Disney’s European vacation destination may want to double-check their budgets.

Crockett’s Tavern, Cantina, and Chuck Wagon are up to 85€ ($100). Hunter’s Grill has risen to 100€ ($118). Walt’s is up to 130€ ($153), Manhattan will rise to 130€ ($153), Royal Banquet is up to 200€ ($235), and Table de Lumière is up to 250€ ($294).
Disneyland Paris hosts special Christmas and New Year’s Eve parties annually, with the cost of these experiences rising over the last few years. The same is true for Disneyland and Walt Disney World, with this year’s Halloween parties seeing some of their highest prices ever.
There’s a lot to look forward to at Disneyland Paris during the holidays. From November 8, 2025, through January 6, 2026, guests can enjoy Disneyland Paris’ Disney Enchanted Christmas.
“Let yourself be dazzled as our majestic Christmas tree lights up several times a day,” says the resort’s website. “At night fall, join Mickey and his friends for a special illumination accompanied by the harmonious voices of the Christmas choir. Sing along with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and a new guest… there’s nothing like a festive sing-song to get you and your loved ones into the Christmas spirit!”
