Walt Disney World is the go-to place for those seeking classic dark rides and thrilling roller coasters. From older icons like Space Mountain, Expedition Everest, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad to more modern adventures like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, TRON: Lightcycle / Run, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, there’s something for everyone to explore and enjoy during their visit to “The Most Magical Place on Earth.”

Disney World also boasts an impressive assortment of entertainment offerings, ranging from short, bite-sized cartoons to Broadway-level live shows. Parades make up a considerable chunk of Disney World’s live entertainment options, with all kinds of floats traveling down Main Street, U.S.A., during Magic Kingdom’s Festival of Fantasy.

This parade has become a staple of the park since it first debuted in 2014 and is something guests won’t want to miss during their vacation. This is especially true in September, as Festival of Fantasy will be getting a very special makeover.

To celebrate the start of Hispanic and Latin Heritage Month on September 15, Grammy Award-winning Latin Pop Duo Bacilos will be featured in Disney’s Festival of Fantasy parade. Both Jorge Villamizar and Andre Lopez will take the role of grand marshal and help kick off the parade, waving to guests as their float travels through Magic Kingdom.

Hispanic and Latin Heritage Month runs through October 15, with Walt Disney World introducing a few limited-time treats alongside this parade change.

Bacilos will also be able to be seen at EPCOT as part of the park’s Eat to the Beat Concerts. The group will perform on September 15, followed by La Calle Band on September 16, 17, and 18. Jesse & Joey will return to EPCOT on September 28 and 29, with Latin Ambition rounding off the celebration on October 14, 15, and 16.

Eat to the Beat is part of EPCOT’s International Food and Wine Festival. Each year, the park kicks off this delicious event, offering a host of fan-favorite dishes and brand-new treats.

Guests are encouraged to travel the world (showcase) with each country featuring a limited-time menu full of small bites, snacks, and desserts.

“Embark on a culinary adventure across 6 different continents,” says Disney on the event’s official webpage. “Discover an array of Global Marketplaces—festival-exclusive kiosks serving delectable dishes and specialty sips inspired by countries and cultures around the world.”

International Food and Wine began on August 28 and lasts through November 22.
