Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard about the controversy surrounding the release of the Epstein Files. In short, President Donald Trump campaigned on releasing the files and exposing the wealthy and influential people behind the notorious sex trafficker.

Instead of releasing the files, Attorney General Pam Bondi said that they didn’t exist and that no further information would be forthcoming, despite her holding up a binder of what was allegedly the files earlier in Trump’s term.

The non-release of the files has caused controversy on all sides of the political spectrum, as both liberals and MAGA diehards are petitioning for the release of the files. No matter what the president and his staff try to do, the public seems determined to keep the Epstein Files in the news.

And now, the Epstein Files controversy has come to Disney World. This week, a woman posted a video of the Hall of Presidents in Magic Kingdom on X (formerly Twitter). Toward the end of the show, Trump takes the oath of office. After he finished his oath, a woman yelled out, “But what about the Epstein Files?”

The reaction to the stunt was mixed. Some applauded the woman for keeping attention on the Epstein files, while others saw this as performative and accomplished nothing. After all, she was yelling at an audio animatronic, not the real person.

One user wrote:

I am the biggest Trump hater on earth. This is performative and is not in any way brave or useful. Filming yourself in a Disney attraction where it’s likely mostly kids and families, is actually pretty terrible. 0 out of 10. Do not recommend.

The Hall of Presidents only reopened in late June with the return of Trump. Disney did not announce the attraction’s reopening; guests just showed up at the park, and it was open again.

Whether it was appropriate or not, it is clear that this conversation about the Epstein Files isn’t going anywhere.
