“Hey ma, do you remember a company called Harley Davidson, and a Restaurant called “Cracker Barrel?” and a theme park called “WDW”?? “Why yes dear, seems they chased their idea of what a bunch of college educated business people decided in a dark closed room what the public would get, not what they wanted, and all three are NO MORE.” ” It’s a shame honey, all those old movies we watch and sing those songs came to life at one time, and the parks were fun. The Southern charm of a restaurant who provided grandmas style of cooking, memorabilia on the walls, a gift shop to match, went all frozen microwaved foods, and your father gave up his love for a new m/c every year as that company lost it’s focus so bad, became so expensive, it engineered and priced itself out of business.” Just like WDW.

One of the most expensive places to go and it will just get worse.

Well said about the ImaginMORONS think what we want. The WOKE is broke and so will WDW. YOU ARE ERASING WALT AND ROY! Farwell and good bye. I will not fund your moronic changes. We came to WDW for 43 years but no more. It is now DISMAL WORLD. To much alcohol, fights, erasing attractions and memories.

Imagine if you applied all of your talent to a job, then you wouldn’t be poor.

poor who’s poor? not I or my wife, please explain your statement

WDW IS NO LONGER AFORDABLE TO THE AVERAGE AMERICAN BUT THEN AS ONE BOARD MEMBER SAID WHEN ASKED IF THEY WERE CONCERNED ABOUT AFORABILITY THE REPLY WAS AVERAGE AMERICANS ARE NO LONGER THE COMPANYS TARGET CUSTOMER.

Say what you want, Disney parks have record earnings so far this year. Look it up.

      1. Drew

True on lower attendance. They stopped all the extras that made the parks seem fun and now they hang guests by their heels to shake all the loose change from their pockets.

      2. That’s bc they pay there employees sh— and treat them like that it’s all about money and they r worried about universal

    4. Rupp

I’m just glad people like you don’t want to go anymore.

    5. Adam

“College educated” like that’s a bad thing. If only we were all non educated, loud, ignorant magas. What a world we’d live in then.

        EXACTLY

I wish they would stop for a while and bring back perks they had before Covid. Prices are crazy and because I am an annual pass holder (from out of state) I must make reservations. I am DVC and it is hard to get reservations at resorts because DVC members rent out their points. I also think they have more DVC members than resorts to handle them.

The Execs of WDW have slowly destroyed the magic of Walts Dream. I was luckyvas a child to see Walt the 1964 World’s Fair and the Carousel of Progress.
REMEMBER it was supposed to be “..a place where Daddy and the girls could do things together”.
That is now dead with alcohol that has caused fights, vomiting and bad behavior from “Drinking Around the World”.
RIP family friendly. Build another bar.. .

Very simple? If it ain’t broke don’t fix it? Disney is still woke and regardless of whether their profits are up have a look around there? Less guests from the U.S. and more from other countries! Remove the Disney we all look forward to and guess what? We go elsewhere. Someone else wrote about cracker barrel. Disney is more like cracker jack? You never know what the prize will be but you will be disappointed just like going to Disney now!

I wish we could upvote comments! Yours would definitely get an upvote from me!

And unless you make a six figure salary and are either rich and famous or single you will most likely never be able to afford to go and enjoy any of these resorts. Bob Iger and the current board of directors DOES NOT CARE about the average family these parks were designed for. They want the wealthy single guest or couples without kids to spend as much money as possible. It’s why you pay $45 for a hamburger or you will pay close to $200 for a single day at the park. It’s why the Magic Kingdom now bas bars. Because when I think of Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh or Alice in Wonderland the first thing I think of is drinking and possibly getting drunk where kids and their families are trying to have a magical moment. The Iger wra has a mission. To erase and eradicate everything Walt Disney stood for, including the history of our country by removing lands like the Rivers of America and Frontierland and saying the theme of a park no longer matters. They just want a very expensive Amusement Intellectual Property Park no matter who it alienates. Corporate greed at its finest

My family and I have gone to Disney 4 times and never once paid 45 for a hamburger. The quick service meals are reasonably priced. No different then any other theme park food price. One can choose to stay at a value resort or a good neighbor hotel instead of at a Disney resort to make it more affordable. Sit down meals can add up and are not necessary if you can’t afford it. I think people hype up the cost more than what it really is. In my opinion if you work and save Disney can be an affordable option.

  9. I don’t want to let Disney Parks to leave in 2030. I want them to stay.

  10. deb
