After months of uncertainty, one of the largest Starbucks locations at Disney Springs has finally reopened, confirming the coffee giant’s ongoing presence at Walt Disney World Resort. Here’s what changed.

In February 2025, Walt Disney World Resort and Starbucks announced that the coffee chain’s location on the West Side of Disney Springs would temporarily close beginning in March. Starbucks described the location’s remodeling as a “long time coming,” and said it would take until June for crews to complete the overhaul.

However, June came and went, and construction walls surrounded the West Side Starbucks at Disney Springs. The walk-up location in the Marketplace remained open and busy as ever, but Walt Disney World Resort guests missed out on the air-conditioned, indoor West Side Starbucks.

Earlier this month, the construction walls finally disappeared from the Starbucks near AMC and Splitsville. The exterior mainly appeared the same as before, though clearly refreshed and repainted. However, the windows were still covered, and Walt Disney World Resort remained tight-lipped about when the coffee shop would reopen.

As of August 25, 2025, we can finally confirm that the West Side Starbucks has reopened at Disney Springs. WDWMagic shared a look at the reimagined store on Monday.

When they walk into this Starbucks, guests are surrounded by a wrap-around mural that covers almost all of the store’s walls. The artwork transports visitors into a tropical oasis, featuring gorgeous landscapes and wildlife, including tigers, hummingbirds, and more.

The new queue design aims to improve crowd flow, a welcome change at one of the busiest Starbucks on Walt Disney World Resort property. There are still tables and chairs for guests inside, but they’re spread far apart to give everyone room to move throughout the store. Outdoor seating overlooks the water at Disney Springs.

The West Side Starbucks is open at Disney Springs daily from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. Mobile Ordering is available at this location through the Starbucks app, and there is a dedicated pick-up spot inside the store.

Starbucks also has locations in the Marketplace at Disney Springs and at all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks: Connections Cafe at EPCOT, the Main Street Bakery at Magic Kingdom Park, Creature Comforts at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and Trolley Car Cafe at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The Disney parks frequently collaborate with the coffee giant for exclusive merchandise, including ornaments, mugs, and tumblers.
