This isn’t a perk at all. How nice of them to bend us over for another 200 bucks each way. Bring back the magical express!

I think this is ludicrous. This isn’t a perk. They need to be more creative with their “perk”. A perk should not cost money! Shame on Disney for saying this is a perk. Just one more way to take our money!

Deluxe resort guests are already paying exorbitant amounts, and that’s without a $400 plus tip ride. We used to stay at The Beach Club (pre-pandemic), so we could walk to and from EPCOT. We could do it with our Disney Reward Dollars and saving between trips, and we used the FREE Magical Express. Not sure it’s possible anymore. The Disney suits have officially lost their minds with this one.

Rediculous.. thus is not a perk, bring back the Magical Express

Some of you would complain about a sunny day. Use it, don’t use it, nobody is forcing you to do anything…get a life. And I love all the “we used to be able” people who complain here. Maybe if you spent more time working or saving for the things you want (and it is a want not a need) instead of complaining on a tabloid site you could still have nice things.

Money is a consumable just like a lot of other things in life. It’s not a complaint when people voice their disagreement on what is supposed to be a “perk” but instead is a money (consumable) grab by Disney. I suspect that those staying in the listed resorts can afford the $199 (plus likely expected “tip”) each way, but why would they want to when even an Uber XL is a cheaper and easier way to get from A to B? Finding a less expensive alternative to a “Minnie van” leaves consumable dollars for other Disney schlock or dining. It’s also how smart people manage money.

Ok here’s the thing, nowhere in any definition of “perk” does it say free. It’s an added benefit, nothing says “free benefit.” It’s an option not a right. Magical Express was a free service…on a bus. This option/benefit/perk is a private car service that is not required to get from point A to B and as you correctly said there are cheaper options should you want to go that route. And by the way the only place that calls this a “perk” is this rag of a site, I think Disney rightly calls it a service, which is optional. So all these people here with their pitchforks are getting sooo upset about something that Disney actually didn’t falsely advertise.

Also, if it a rag of a site why are you here. Also I have stayed at the poly about 7 times and other resorts. Just because I can afford to stay there doesn’t mean I want to spend another 200 dollars. People with money usually have it because they are good with money not just pissing it away.

      you’re a jackass!

HAHAHA how much is Disney paying you to say this puke. It is not a PERK. PERKS are included. You are ignorant. Stop talking because no one is buying anything you are saying. Yes people are bringing up the past because everything was better. It should not be getting worse! Fool go back to the kids table adults are talking.

Wow someone needs to take their afternoon happy pills. Calm down old man. We are sorry everything was better in the past for you, some of us think that things are pretty good now but I guess we have more time to enjoy it than you. I will get off your lawn now and go back to the kids table.

It’s bad enough that Disney took away Magical Express but I think it’s even worse that they no longer deliver your luggage to room upon arrival. Last year we waited 2-1/2 hours for our luggage to come off conveyor belt at Orlando airport and this put a real damper on beginning of what was my grandson’s first Disney experience.

Lady, if in fact you are one, if you waited 2 1/2 hours for luggage to come off an airport conveyor belt, you may want to consider cutting back on the drugs and rethinking your life.

Part of my enjoyment of the Disney Vacation experience was knowing that my relaxation started the minute I got off the plane. I find it hard to believe Disney’s claim that the Magical Express service was not used enough-I always found the lines long and the buses full. I strongly feel that when many of your resorts cost $700-$1000 per night, Disney can certainly afford to come and pick me up, particularly those of us that bought into the DVC at great expense & guaranteeing that we will return over & over.
