It could be due to the weather and the fact of the mass crowds. But who cares, as long as Universal has it roped off or any other way to prevent the guests from getting hurt. So I think one should have better things to film than cracked or broken concrete!
That is a result of a contractor using too much water when smoothing out the pavement. Laborers will “bless the concrete” with water much like a priest sprinkling holy water with an aspergillum to make it easier to use a bull float. It weakens the surface of the pour.
So tell us you have no idea as to how concrete sets up with out telling us. I will bet a thirty second googley search would tell you weather plays a huge part in the curing process and our weather has sucked this year.
The same thing happened when Walt Disney opened Disneyland 70 years ago. The cement was melting because of the heat and lots of people were getting stuck in the soft cement. Things happen and people shouldn’t be making a big deal about it, but then it wouldn’t be the internet.
Good God Almighty!!!! Can’t these fricken people find anything positive to post about? The amount of crying and sniveling on social media is ridiculous!
