Who said anything about getting drunk, sorry DRUNK? Let me guess you are one of those people who thinks themselves morally superior to everyone else (but is a closet dumpster fire) who doesn’t think the way you do therefore there is something wrong with them. Why don’t you go on vacation somewhere else, people like you shouldn’t be around regular people…UGH
True, I don’t drink any more myself, as alcohol no longer agrees with me. I’m not morally superior, and don’t object to adults having a drink. I just don’t think that drinking to excess (and get real, honey, that’s what they do at EPCOT) should be part of the Disney experience. I go to Disneyland, as I live in the Western US. I don’t care for seeing people wander all over DCA with plastic cups of alcohol. It’s not a Renaissance Festival (a place I also enjoy); it’s a family park.
Right Ted you don’t fancy yourself morally superior just judgmental of others based on your own belief system of what should and should not be done, we see the distinction. So you say all the times we go to Epcot and have a responsible drink we are drinking to excess as do 99.9% of the thousands of adults every day because that’s what “they do.” Now for me, I don’t care for folks walking around in tights, leggings and feathered hats drooling on themselves eating giant turkey legs around children but who am I to judge what another responsible adult does in a free country.
We don’t drink. We don’t frequent places that promote drinking the casual. Regardless, this sounds insane to me. Obviously an event for, “adults.” But hey! They are the ones with the dough! After all, nothing screams Disney Magic like a drunk or two making g a fool of themselves. I hope they keep them out of the rest if the parjs where the kids are. From what shows up on the internet, they aren’t doing to good a job of it already.
Seriously they already have problems with drunks trying to drink around the world
Now we add unlimited mimosas to this buffet. They better add unlimited security to deal with the fallout. Such a shame!
I wasn’t planning on going during the food and wine time, but apparently I am going to be there during it.
I seriously thought they were going to offer all you can drink to every day, so I’m glad to know it’s just certain days and times.
Walt firmly believed that alcohol and kids don’t mix, and barred it from Disneyland for years. Unfortunately, present-day Disney can’t resist the profit to be made from their overpriced drinks. Hardly a day goes by anymore when regular followers of ITM don’t read about fights, drunken brawls or abuse to cast members, not sure why anyone should be surprised that alcohol is a factor. The least Disney could do is compromise and shut off the obviously inebriated, something they currently refuse to do.
Comments for EPCOT Will Start Serving Disney Guests Unlimited Alcohol, Starting In September

and they think this will improve behavior?🤣🤣🤣🤣
Joan
What’s wrong with the behavior, we’ve never had any issues there?
Sue
There are plenty of OTHER locations to go on vacation and get drunk. DISNEY shouldn’t be one of them..UGH

Please cite your references or actual statistics for your statement about the grave problem that already exists…we will wait.

I bet you are wild after a few wine coolers Cindy, O YA!

Alcohol consumption is currently at a record low in the States. Health concern awareness is the reason. Look it up.

What could possibly go wrong?!?? Sad that people cannot go ANYWHERE without getting drunk – truly a lack of character.
Roy
Ya a lack of character like blanketly judging people hey Walt. I’d hate to live near your glass house…
