I think this will further contribute to corporate greed since Disney already worships greed.

    Steve Wynn should buy everything.

Well if disney could keep what they have in good repair. why buy another broken down theme park ,they all ready have a few

Exactly. And there’s a LOT of area around the resort available if they wanted to buy it. Knott’s is well over 6 miles away from Disneyland, btw.

Im all for the purchase as Disney and Knott’s already have a history…..putting Disneys arms around Knott’s would extend the Magic!

    1. Cool

It would ruin Knotts for everyone.

I think that Disney should explore buying the old Los Angeles zoo area for a theme park. That would put it right across the freeway from Disney Studios in Burbank.

Disney will not be allowed to buy another park and the better thing for it do and will eventually do is shrink and go backwards. Disney would be better off closing down DCA and Downtown Disney turning them both back into the Disneyland parking lot which is a lot more likely to happen than expansion.

Won’t happen. Knott’s is their top performing park, and the 100 million Six Flags lost was because of parks in mid-America dur to extreme weather. The Knott family flat out denied Disney from buying it, and Cedar Fair (Six Flags) gave them a hard NO already.

And the direction disney is going lately they would totally ruin it!

A Disney merger would mean that Knotts essentially gets bulldozed. The only rides that would survive would be calico mine, log ride, and maybe ghost rider. Knotts would most likely be turned into an IP filled park. I can see Pixar place being moved to Knotts and the whole park becoming a Pixar park. This would give Disney the ability to further expand marvel at DCA in place of what used to be Pixar place.

I would be furious if Disney took over Knott’s! The big rat can get lost! They would ruin it! Strip its charm and history for whatever is “relevant!” Seriously … I want Disney to stay away from Knott’s!

NO, NO AND NO!!! Knott’s needs to stay Knott’s! Disneyland is woke, I don’t see that with Knott’s.
