Let’s discuss the most underrated rides in Walt Disney World, again.

We’ve talked extensively about why we love Living with the Land so much. This slow-moving boat ride can be a nice break from the hustle and bustle (and heat) found throughout EPCOT. There’s nothing quite like coming into The Land pavilion, walking through the queue, and stepping down in the iconic green boat for a relaxing 15-minute journey.

Living with the Land isn’t just soothing; it’s also educational. Riders have the chance to learn and discover more about agriculture and the importance of respecting Mother Nature. Guests will get to see “cutting-edge” greenhouse technology as they see all kinds of different produce grown, stored, and served.

There’s no theme park ride in the world quite like Living with the Land, which is why we love it so much.

We’ve also talked extensively about Kali River Raids, though for different reasons. Is this ride disappointing? Yes. Is it too short? Yes. Is it worth waiting 45 minutes for? No. But we would be lying if we said this attraction wasn’t fun or one of the most unique in Walt Disney World.

With its queue, Kali River Rapids starts strong, maybe even a little too strong. Guests will follow winding paths that cross through abandoned temples and shacks. Small details slowly tell the story of the ride, which focuses on explaining the dangers of deforestation.

The ride itself is also fun and unique. Guests board a giant water raft and ride down through rapids at pretty fast speeds. Eventually, they make it up a lift hill before plunging dozens of feet into the water. The rest of the adventure is pretty chill, though again, we feel this attraction is too short for what it is.

Of course, guests who don’t wish to get soaked better avoid this one entirely.

Star Tours

While Star Tours may seem like a perfectly rated ride, this motion simulator tends to get forgotten about compared to its newer, more impressive siblings. Star Tours has been part of Disney’s Hollywood Studios much longer than Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. While old, It is still a thrilling and magical adventure that we highly recommend you take.

There’s a special vibe in Star Tours that we feel is missing from newer Star Wars-themed experiences like Smuggler’s Run and Rise of the Resistance. We can’t quite put our finger on it, but there’s something about the animatronics, music, sound effects, and ride vehicle itself that really does feel special and immersive in a way that Galaxy’s Edge simply isn’t.

Star Tours is also incredibly unique due to its ability to adapt and change. Disney can add new adventures whenever it wants to, adding all kinds of Star Wars locations and characters to the mix whenever it wants.

Maybe the most prominent underrated feature of this ride is its wait time. Star Tours rarely exceeds 30 minutes and often sits at just 10 minutes.

Overall, you can’t really go wrong in Walt Disney World, but next time, maybe try one of these attractions (or all three).

Do you agree with our list? What do you think is the most underrated ride in Walt Disney World?
