My nephew and a friend worked at Disney . With the billions Disney makes the payroll is next to minimum wage . My friend told me how they had just came off a 12 hour shift and wanted them back at work in a hour for a 8 hour shift .
My friend told me that a friend told him that a guy who once talked to a guy who had a friend who worked there was made to work, WORK, for a full shift doing a job that they agreed to do for an agreed upon rate. Then this friend chose to stay there instead of finding another job. The horror.
These people chose to work there. If they’re not happy, they can go get a different job. I say fire them all and replace them with people that want to work.
I personally worked the WDW Culinary Program and yes the work is very hard but very doable. I worked at Epcot, Disney Sport and Port Orleans (French Quarters and Riverside). WDW has many perks, discounts (food and merchandise and hotels), including park tickets. I personally highly working for WDW.

We support the workers. I’ve read about HR issues at the Springs restaurants. I hope the workers win whatever they’re requesting.

Sounds like Disney Corp should not be farming out positions critical to operations.
