The Muppets were a huge part of my childhood, but that attraction was just a way to get out of the heat and sit down.

But having them on a roller coaster will eliminate little ones seeing them.

Monsters, Inc., is a momentary fad which will fade; the Muppets are forever; but, then Disney seems to be in the habit of replacing classic with the temporary.

24 years of Monster’s Inc isn’t exactly a fad at this point

Where were all of the Muppets fans when the ride was floundering? They showed up all upset and wailing when it was already decided. It will be fun to see the gang in their new home.

I am not a big roller coaster fan especially that one. So I am sad that is where the muppets are going. If it is the same roller coaster with all the twists and turns unfortunately I will not be be seeing the muppets again😢

🎵 “It’s time to cut some corners, it’s time to re-theme rides, it’s time to close the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight!” 🎶

    Sorry, couldn’t resist! 😜

Disney just seems intent on making one bad decision after another. Rock’n Rollercoaster is an adult ride. Muppets were intended for children. I don’t understand why Muppets had to leave to introduce Monsters Inc. With the expansion, there was plenty of room for both. They always have visions of grandure. Then, during construction, they realize they’ve bitten off more than they can chew. Look at Galaxy’s Edge. A prime example. Or perhaps Star Cruiser? Yet another fine mistake. It’s almost as if they offer an employee prize to the worst ideas possible. I’m sure Monsters Inc will turn out to be spectacularly okay. But Disney used to be known for over the top exceptional not merely okay. I miss Walt. I miss Mike Eisner. People who understood their audience. People who cared about the Disney legacy.
