An already-expensive Disney resort experience has gotten a tad bit more expensive.

Pricing has remained one of the more controversial parts of a Disney vacation, with costs continuing to rise year over year. Guests have seen everything from park tickets to hotels grow more expensive, with merchandise and snacks seeing bumps too.

A single-day ticket for the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World or Disneyland Park at Disneyland can cost $200, and add-ons like Lightning Lane and Photopass raise the prices even further.

However, dining can easily become the most expensive part of guests’ trips due to the rising cost of signature restaurants and buffets. Classic Disney World eateries like Ohana, Liberty Tree Tavern, and The Crystal Palace have all seen price hikes over the last decade, as have quick-service locations like Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe.

Character dining is one of the quintessential Disney experiences, though this comes at a hefty price. Places like Cinderella’s Royale Table cost up to $88 per person for dinner.

Disneyland also offers a few character dining experiences, namely Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure. This restaurant has been a staple of Disneyland Resort for quite some time, though guests should expect to pay more to dine here than they did just a few weeks ago.

Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure has increased its per-guest price to $149, up $7 from the $142 it was just a few weeks ago. This new price is reflected on the restaurant’s official website.

Disney Princess Breakfast Adventure is located at The Grand Californian Hotel, one of several Disneyland-area hotels. Currently, the restaurant is housed in the hotel’s temporary ballroom as work continues on Napa Rose. This refurbishment is expected to finish this fall.

Disneyland describes this dining option as an “unforgettable 3-course breakfast.” Guests can expect to see some of their favorite Disney princesses during their meal,

This price hike follows a guest’s viral first-hand experience of dining here. The guest, a father, shared his experience, saying he “almost spit out [his] coffee” after seeing his $900+ bill.

This price hike also follows a wave of other increases all around the Disneyland Resort.

In July, Disneyland raised prices on over 1,000 different food and drink items, ranging from coffee and popcorn to pickles and pretzels. Disneyland also raised prices on mixed drinks and snacks, as well as select dining locations such as Storytellers Cafe Dinner Buffet.

Trader Sam’s, a popular bar and lounge, saw multiple items rise in price, including the iconic DOLE Whip.

What do you think about this newest Disneyland price hike? Have you ever dined here?
