Same today with 15,000 less seats in most MLB FIELDS – compared to much bigger STADIUMS that they replace.
Wide screen TVs today do not help.

Disney keeps churning out the same stuff every year too. Nothing new at oogie boogie bash. They reduced entertainment and assume people just want to ride the same things over and over. They need to change things to keep people returning. Bring back shows!

Some people or do just want to ride the same things over and over. I’m glad that they don’t change the parties because I can’t afford to go every year and if they keep changing them, I’d be upset and end up going into debt because of FOMO. I know people that go to the Halloween and Christmas parties every year and they don’t care if it changes or not. They go to the parks several times a year and ride the same things over and over. Just because you want things to change doesn’t mean everyone else wants that too.

Both Vegas and Disney are slowly killing themselves with their constant worship of corporate greed.

I went to Vegas last year (a couple of months before my Disney trip) and gave Hard Rock the 🖕. I loved the Mirage and the volcano and Hard Rock sucks for destroying both.

Both locations need to rebuild all the stuff that we loved at their original locations.

We, two of us, are going to DW end of September. Normally have a larger group but too expensive. Only going because we are DVC and have points to use. Usually do Park Hoppers, but not this time! Will do minimal and spending will be minimal.
Yes, revenue way up due to huge increases for everything!

Disney needs to pay attention to what’s happening in Vegas. They keep jacking up prices and the average person can’t afford them anymore. The only reason they made money was because of the outrageous prices. I love Disney World but I can’t justify paying what I’d have to pay for a visit. They also are more worried about keeping big spenders happy with extra hours in the parks at night and Minnie van transportation from MCO for those that are staying at deluxe resorts.

I noticed that they don’t allow any of the value resorts guests any of that stuff. Part of the reason I stay at value resorts is so that I have more money to spend in the parks and on tickets.

I’m DVC, have some points to spend or lose. We will let them go this year. Other prices are too much to have fun while spending on basics. Hopefully they don’t see the profit on less people, inflated prices as a crowd control measure. Maybe it’s time to sell my DVC. There are many other ways to have FUN family vacations with a non elites budget.

Thank goodness that Disney doesn’t have the crime that Vegas has.

The Disney Corporation has forgotten why Disneyland and Disney World exist . They were meant to be a place where the average working person could take his or her family for a good day . Now it is all geared toward the rich . We will not be going back we will be going to Dollywood . Dolly knows what it is like to work for a living unlike the Disney Board members .
