If people would just stop trying to be sneaky and would stop with the criminal mentality, or would just stop bringing everything, but the kitchen sink to the park with them, maybe security wouldn’t have to completely toss everything out of strollers. Everyone and their mother, knows that people use diaper bags and strollers to sneak contraband into the parks. Especially alcohol in baby bottles!
I for one, feel security should fully search every single stroller going into the parks and there definitely should be separate lines for strollers!!!!
I swear most families pack everything but the kitchen sink in those strollers. We would take a change of clothes and a light jacket with us for the kids and a water bottle . Each kid had a small fanny pack with a snack or two in it and a picture of the entire family with names on it…….and after they started walking, they walked
i used a stroller with my kids until they didn’t fit [6 or 7] parks are exhausting for adults, they are more so for kids. the last thing i want to do is carry a sleeping 6 year old through a park. plus i am lazy and a stroller holds water, towels [all those splash pads], change of clothes, rain capes, portable charger, the hat du jour, glasses/sunglasses.
Right! Thank you for being practical! It’s funny to see people spend thousands and thousands of dollars then choose to be miserable when they try and make their young kids do forced marches that ends up making them tired and miserable just to prove some point. Sounds like a fun vacation to me haha
I actually overheard a conversation one day from a guy that was bragging to his friend about his girlfriend that takes either the stroller or items off the stroller and resales them Said it was her full-time job and makes several thousand a month…I was shocked that she has never been caught. I was smart enough to take a picture of the guy and forward it to security. Security took me seriously and was going to watch for the guy including watching him come with his girlfriend as he said he accompanied her often.
What I don’t understand is why Disney doesn’t just have strollers and mobility devices go through the scanners like everyone who walks through them. I have been to various other venues with the same scanners that have done this and it works quite well and eliminates the need for manual scans unless something sets the system off.
It is really sad that adults think they need to smuggle things into Disney Parks. They don’t expect to get caught. Maybe some severe consequences need to be put in place. Immediate arrest. Children turned over to CPS. Very long prison sentences. Huge fines. Enough punishment to make it not worth taking the risk of trying to smuggle something in. Maybe a few other crimes need similar deterrents. Instead, we have dumbocrats complaining that an illegal was arrested for making an illegal U-turn and killing 3 people.

So you can’t go just a few hours without alcohol? Really?
