I grew up going to Carowinds starting in the early 70s. Had a season pass through the 80s and early 90s, as I was still a teen and later a single young woman living in a condo with no pool so wanted access to the water park. Again several years in the 00s, me and my young son. I miss going, but as mentioned, way too expensive and also I live on the north side of town, so it’s just not feasible. Now that I’m closing in on 60, my son is in his mid 20s, I miss those days. Still love roller coasters, but they tore down the best one there ever was……. Thunder Road! I can’t see myself going back again, but I sure do have great memories of this place!

Too many parks have raised rates so high, many can not longer afford it.

Good !!!! Carowinds Sucks anyway … Should bulldoze the whole place and use it for something useful.
