The European Disney park hasn’t shared plans to repair the robotic figure, and the attraction it’s part of is still operating normally.
On August 4, X (formerly known as Twitter) account @PixiedustDLP shared this video of two seagull animatronics on the Finding Nemo (2003)-themed Crush’s Coaster at Walt Disney Studios Park. The animatronic on the right operates normally, squacking “Mine!” on cue. The gull on the left stands motionless, even as its dialogue plays normally.

Guest reports suggest the seagull animatronic has been broken for over four months. @395823sfsg reported that the character was motionless when they visited Disneyland Paris Resort in April 2025:

Despite the broken queue animatronic, Crush’s Coaster continues to operate normally at Walt Disney Studios Park. Located in the Worlds of Pixar area, the roller coaster invites guests on a thrilling ride through the world of Finding Nemo.
“After taking in the Sydney Harbour scenery, hop onboard a turtle shell and prepare for a ride through memorable moments from the movie,” Disneyland Paris Resort writes of the attraction. “Sit tight as your shell dives into the ocean and begins its incredible journey. Nemo, Squirt and other familiar faces greet you in the Great Barrier Reef, but the serenity doesn’t last for long as you’re sent plunging to the deepest darkest depths, where a sunken submarine sits surrounded by fluorescent fish, jellyfish and voracious sharks. Danger lurks all around. However, just in the nick of time, the strong East Australian Current churns you up and sends you spiralling back to Sydney Harbour to a rousing reception.”
Disneyland Paris Resort hasn’t commented publicly on the broken seagull animatronic in the Crush’s Coaster queue.
