Is anyone surprised? This long time fan was priced out at least a decade ago and this insane app-based reservation system and management greed ruins the experience at any price. At least my memories remain freely available.
If “the way it is” means that the almighty dollar is more important than it should be, then yeah, let’s go with that. The prices are beyond ridiculous.
The thing about nickel and diming is even if 50% of visitors buy into $60 of upgrades Disney would make more money had they left all the included items in place and just raised ticket prices anything over $30. Customers would be happier because they still see those things free. Plus the whole adventure would have remained easier and less stressful.
Those are the 3 real complaints I see in most of these posts.
