It actually doesn’t matter what Disney’s rules say. The pilot is violating FAA regulations which prohibit flying objects and aircraft in the airspace above theme parks and sports stadiums. This person should have had his drone confiscated and he should have been arrested and prosecuted by federal authorities for his actions.
Disney needs to tell us how this drone got past their upgraded security. Security there sounds more like a “Mickey Mouse” operation. Pun intended!
In the report it states, “Drones are prohibited according to Walt Disney World’s official list of rules, as are other recreational devices like remote-control toys, scooters, and skateboards.”
I guess you cannot play with your remote controlled R2 droid at Hollywood studios anymore.
As for banning scooters, I guess those bound to a motorized scooter for transport as well as the elderly will also be banned from the parks.
Keep it up Disney, pretty soon your parks will be abandoned ghost towns as Epic Universe keeps kicking your A$$!
Drones not my thing but shouldn’t be allowed into Disney Parks.
They are noisy, distracting from having funny. The person shouldn’t have been allowed into the park. Play with your drone elsewhere.

The rules are plain, if you don’t want to follow Disney’s rules stay away.

They are talking about stand up scooters with handle bars. Seen any elderly or disabled riding those? Come on man!!

Why weren’t the feds involved with the incident? Maybe the operator broke federal regulations along with Disney’s?

Just a warning. This absolutely will result in a permanent ban from all properties. It’s immensely rude, distracting, and dangerous.
