If I were to stay in the hotel, I would want to”veggie-saurs ” to be all around, including poking there heads into the taller windows to say hello. And also have a special button on the alarm clock to wake up to… either the T-Rex call or the raptor screech (fun times for the kiddos).

ALL the rooms should overlook a courtyard that is just overgrown plants that are surrounded by sturdy cages marked HIGH VOLTAGE (yes, VELOCIRAPTORS)… every once in a while a screech will be heard and a branch will shake.

Oooo…at night… every once in a while, have a VERY LARGE T-Rex eye glare into the window of your room…and BOOMS (“like” thunder but NOT thunder) should be heard.

In the book, Pteratops Lodge and Safari Lodge are two different locations. Safari Lodge is the main hotel the characters stay at, the one where the raptors menace the injured Malcolm through the skylight. The construction on Pteratops Lodge was stalled by the unexpected territoriality of the pterosaurs in the aviary, where it was situated. There’s a good description of the partially finished construction streaked with droppings from the pterosaurs, which would admittedly make a pretty cool location in a survival horror game.

I hear they spared no expense.
