I worked at DW and the entire park was affected not just one ride when Obama went. I agree that JD would’ve been better off going to DW instead of DL. Yet never have I heard that they closed the rides from the public.

We had our Mustang at a car show in Arkansas that Bill Clinton decided he wanted to go to while he was POTUS. The whole section was split off from the main area because our car was considered one of the “elites.” Regular people who came to the show could not get in to see our car and every time we wanted to so much as pee we had to wait in line to be checked over by the Secret Service. If you went to get any food you had to go thru the same process. They would go as far as unwrapping a sandwich and lifting the meat off to make sure nothing was hidden in it. I couldn’t stand Clinton, thought he was bad POTUS and a worse human being. But I understand completely that we were talking about the most important individual in the country, possibly the world. So yeah, things get a little upside down. My family was ok with that because none of us wanted to see anything happen to the POTUS, no matter who he was or what party. So he wanted to get out there and see some nice cars, and yes it disrupted other peoples plans. Things happen. I’d much rather wait to be screened in a 40 minute line than know the POTUS got assassinated cause I had a lack of patience.

I worked at DW and the entire park was affected not just one ride when Obama went. I agree that JD would’ve been better off going to DW instead of DL. Another thing is that a pediatrician posted that the people that lost their lives in Texas deserved it because they probably voted for Trump. She got fired. Also years ago the town was given the opportunity to put in sirens for a flood disaster but they voted against spending so much money. And as for the ‘cost to taxpayers” rumor has it that the cost to sweep and shut down a resturant somewhere else in Orange County results in the same hourly wage as shutting down and screening Pirates. This is usually for the Disney parks to treat the Super Bowl champions, NBA winners, and other sports teams – even to Olympic medalists. This has been going on for years; used to even have commercials when the winning teams would be asked what they were doing after the game and they’d answer, “Going to Disney”! Yet never have I heard that they closed the rides from the public.

We had our Mustang at a car show in Arkansas that Bill Clinton decided he wanted to go to while he was POTUS. The whole section was split off from the main area because our car was considered one of the “elites.” Regular people who came to the show could not get in to see our car and every time we wanted to so much as pee we had to wait in line to be checked over by the Secret Service. If you went to get any food you had to go thru the same process. They would go as far as unwrapping a sandwich and lifting the meat off to make sure nothing was hidden in it. I couldn’t stand Clinton, thought he was bad POTUS and a worse human being. But I understand completely that we were talking about the most important individual in the country, possibly the world. So yeah, things get a little upside down. My family was ok with that because none of us wanted to see anything happen to the POTUS, no matter who he was or what party. So he wanted to get out there and see some nice cars, and yes it disrupted other peoples plans. Things happen. I’d much rather wait to be screened in a 40 minute line than know the POTUS got assassinated cause I had a lack of patience.
