I’m not surprised. In fact, I was kind of surprised that Lily stuck around the industry as long as she did. She did interviews during the last couple of seasons of LOST where she said that she intended to quit acting after the series wrapped.
Obviously, the money must have been too good to pass up but she’s looked like she wasn’t putting as much effort into her acting as she had in the past. You could really see it in QUANTUMANIA.
I wish them both well in their lives post-Hollywood. Getting out on your own terms is a rarity in this industry.
Michael Douglas is 80. As he said …. He doesn’t want to drop dead in the middle of a film. So, it’s time to retire. The other character said she wants to retire… so as the other poster said – not news. lol NOW if Disney let Paul Rudd go … I’d be pretty p*ssed off.
