Disney’s Hollywood Studios is one of the most popular theme parks at Walt Disney World, and as such, guests will need to be prepared to wait in line during their day. The park is home to some of Disney World’s most popular and intense attractions, with rides like The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster seeing wait times of up to two hours.

Perhaps the park’s most popular and consistently crowded area is Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, a highly detailed land designed to immerse visitors in their own Star Wars adventure. The land is home to multiple eateries, gift shops, and experiences, though for most, the highlight of Galaxy’s Edge is Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

This impressive dark ride sees guests join the Resistance as they attempt to escape the clutches of Kylo Ren. It’s a wild adventure and also one of the most sought-after experiences in all of Disney World. As such, guests should expect to wait a significant amount of time to hop aboard.

Walt Disney World is almost just as famous for its food as it is for its rides and attractions. From fast-food staples to luxury dinners, there’s something for everyone to enjoy during their time at the parks.

However, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is not the best example of Disney World’s culinary capabilities.

This isn’t to say the park doesn’t have delicious meals, snacks, and treats, but, for the most part, dining at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is subpar at best. Places like 50’s Prime Time Cafe are fun but aren’t for everyone, as are other options like Hollywood & Vine.

Navigating the Walt Disney World Resort can be quite a challenge, as it spans hundreds of acres. However, there’s something especially tricky and annoying about walking around Disney’s Hollywood Studios. While the park does feature a central hub area similar to Magic Kingdom, getting from point A to point B can be difficult if you aren’t sure where to go.

The park also has several abrupt dead ends and is missing critical connection points between locations. It’s not a huge problem, but Hollywood Studios can certainly feels different to navigate than Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, or even Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The Price

On a typical day, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the second-most expensive theme park at Walt Disney World. The only park that is more expensive is Magic Kingdom, though Hollywood Studios isn’t much cheaper. In 2025, a single-day ticket to Hollywood Studios costs between $139 and $199.
