It’s the same ride but the characters are different. Zippity do da is still probably more popular than Tiana ever will be. Sorry

Exactly. So what’s the problem? The ride is the same and a classic song is still popular.

There is no Tiana. Splash Mountain is alive and well and will never be changed. Disney has no right to change it or withhold Song of the South. Trump does have the right to tell Disney what to do. Looking forward to riding Splash Mountain with Brer Rabbit in 2046 when WDW celebrates its 75th and Song of the South has its centennial.

The Magic is gone from Our Beloved “ Disney World” we once knew and loved. The big let down, has been experienced by so many people I know . It is a high priced version of Six Flags amusement park. The high priced rooms in the Vacation Club look like low income housing apartments. Stripped of the magical feel of a special vacation place you once wished you lived in. You can’t even take a quick shower, so you can go to the parks early. I was so proud to be a member of the club, before all of the degrading changes in the place. A dream is a wish your heart makes, and my wish is that Disney return to the Magical Fun Place it once was.

  3. AND? Nice of ITM to note the President didn’t make a statement on Splash Mountain. But Pete Hegseth doesn’t drink his lunch! Why wasn’t that clarified? We just can’t get away from politics, can we? Also, I got married at Walt Disney World in 1995. On our extended visit, there was one night when we were able to ride Splash Mountain 7 times straight. It was a little cool out (January) and there was’nt anyone waiting to get on, so the fantastic Cast Members let us ride through. The theming and the music was one of the best at Disney. Have most people ever seen the movie “Song of The South”? Great music! All enjoyed on this ride, lost now to all except those traveling to Japan. Why couldn’t Disney have made a whole new ride for Tiana? As of now, the Tiana ride will always be known as the ride that replaced Splash Mountain. The Princess and the Frog is a great story on its own. Seeing all the changes going on at The Magic Kingdom, Couldn’t the talent at Disney thought of something better for Tiana? In retrospect it sounds like a dumb move. With the current changes, just think of the possibility of using the Liberty Square Riverboat in a new and unique Tiana themed ride.

  4. I wish and hope Donald Trump will make a statement on Splash Mountain, and the Song of the South theme will come back to Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
