This first picture is misleading. Notice no scrims along Haunted Mansion.

I was there just the other day. Scrims were up and the water was still being lowered

Email Jeff Vahle and Disney World and tell them to refill the river and to stop copying Hard Rock (they drained the Mirage’s lagoon)

    Boycott Corporate Greed!!!!! 🖕🤬🖕

Good Morning everyone, Anonymous here, I did it again, no not the “accidents” at night, last night was dry! 1 day in a row, I’ve got this! Anyway reflecting on my actions I realized I had another lead paint induced hysterical rant, I know I can do better. Can’t wait to see what exciting improvements those great imagineers make!!!

    2. Old disney

That’s absolutely appalling. It just really is a sad day for disney world. What’s and walt disney. Someone said It in this chat that it’s sad that kids will never be able to experience what It would like in that time period and that’s just the problem is the people who are running Disney right now. Don’t want you to Remember that time period which is absolutely sad. I do hope Walt haunts them.

It’s going to be great! Can’t wait to see what comes next.

I agree! And that picture above looks so cool! I love peeks behind the magic curtain.

I find those photos so depressing. I loved the Riverboat and the atmosphere there. It was so soothing and gentle. Not everyone can go on wild rides including my mother who is in a wheelchair. It’s as sad as losing The Great Movie Ride.

Nothing was worse than when i went to the ’65 NY World’s Fair grounds as a boy AFTER the fair closed to see them destroying almost ALL the attactions!
Search for “NY World’s Fair demolition” & click “Images”.
Also do the same for “Progressland demolition” – the original home of Carousel of Progress!

100% but I guess a cars themed land can generate more revenue selling cars merchandise. Nostalgia, having no cash value, is irrelevant these days.

        3. You are right. And this was not Walts intention when he built the parks. It was for families of all ages to enjoy not just abunch of kiddy rides. Plus it was also to give a glimose of past America to remember its history. Unfortunately many people of yoday careless about history or learning. Just give them the next ignorant ride like a Jerry Springer show.

      Corporate greed supported 🖕🤬🖕

No it’s not. No Cars is coming. The Rivers of America are full and operational right this second. I will be enjoying a cruise on the Liberty Belle in 2046 for the 75th in a Pixar-less park.

It’s the end of another beautiful era at the Disney parks. Children will never get to see the old West, Rivers of America or get to ride on a real steamboat. I hope the Disney Imagineers know what they are doing because they have already screwed up Splash Mountain.

Well since Disney didn’t really step up and create merch for fans (not profitable enough for them) there are at least some folks on Etsy who did! I saw a couple of cool shirts.

    2. Exactly cannot leave the good alone just set on cheapening the Disney exoerience with nonsense rides

  4. ROGER

Everybody knows by now Disney execs don’t give a damn about Walt’d Dream or what TRUE Disney fans want. Putting cars in the Frontier is one of the stupidest t things I ever heard of. There really is not more Frontierland, just whateverland.

  5. BC

This will be regretted, hard to believe they could do more damage than they did with Splash Mountain. They’re going for 100% frenetic, no different than Universal.

BD and Brandon are corporate greed supporters 🖕🤬🖕

That was Then, This’s Now! What’s yet to come. Liberty Belle Steamboat made her last journey around the river & more likely be scrapped after 54 years carrying passengers like myself on such a legendary journey that can’t be forgotten. I’ll miss miss it for sure! Now the world of wheels in the form of CARS will take it’s place in another 2 years. Just hope the WDW tracks can be restored in a different form or pattern in a year or two so I can once again ride the rails that I so enjoy like even Walt Disney himself invented.

    1. Steve

No it’s not. These photos are false. The Liberty Belle Riverboat is still up and running and will remain running forever at WDW. I was there for the 75th in 2046 and have the receipts. I have a Time Machine just like Doc Brown. No Cars is coming and Lightning McQueen will never be in Magic Kingdom. It’s a hoax. All Pixar characters and IP will be removed from the Disney parks in the near future due to the company being broken up under antitrust. With Pixar independent again, Disney will have to remove all traces of it to avoid billions in licensing fees.

    The magic is being destroyed!!

    1. So true. I have no intention of ever going to Disney World at this rate
