Over a week after Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away debuted at Magic Kingdom Park, Walt Disney World Resort has made it easier for Annual Passholders to see the new nighttime parade.
Led by the Blue Fairy, Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away invites guests into a sparkling world where anything is possible. The first nighttime parade at Walt Disney World Resort in nearly a decade features dazzling floats inspired by Wish (2023), Coco (2017), Encanto (2021), and more. Most nights, Magic Kingdom Park offers two performances of the nighttime parade.

Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away officially debuted at Magic Kingdom Park on Sunday, July 20, after two days of surprise soft-opening performances. Due to anticipated crowd levels, Walt Disney World Resort reinstated Disney Park Pass reservation rules for Annual Passholders wanting to see the new parade.
From July 20 to July 27, Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholders were required to make Disney Park Pass reservations to visit the Magic Kingdom at any time, on any day. Disney had previously loosened this COVID-19-era policy, allowing Annual Passholders to visit the parks without a reservation after 2:00 p.m. on most days or at any time on scheduled “good-to-go” days.

On Monday, July 28, Walt Disney World Resort announced that it was reversing the strict Disney Park Pass reservations for Annual Passholders visiting the Magic Kingdom. Theme park journalist Scott Gustin (@ScottGustin) shared the following on X (formerly known as Twitter):
NEW: The limited-time theme park reservation requirements that were in place from July 20 to July 27 for Passholders visiting Magic Kingdom have ended as of today.

Now, Annual Passholders can visit Magic Kingdom Park after 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday without a Disney Park Pass reservation or at any time on select “good-to-go” days. However, they must have a Disney Park Pass reservation to visit the Magic Kingdom anytime on Saturdays and Sundays. This is the same policy that was in place before the debut of Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away.

Check Walt Disney World Resort’s website for the latest information about Disney Park Pass reservations and scheduled “good-to-go” days.
