Never planned to watch this movie in the first place. Superman is another one of those franchises that’s been rebooted way too many times and gets worse and more left-wing with each one. Frankly I’m surprised they didn’t change his name to Superperson or SuperThey/Them to please the woke left.
No, Superman does not represent America. He represents the moral goodness fighting evil all over the world.
And FYI, no true American wants an overload of illegal immigrants in their country mooching off their tax dollars and refusing to learn English. You really think Americans *want* and bunch of Mexicans burning our flag all while waving theirs? Doesn’t sound like apple pie to me. A true Superman would be telling those illegals that if they took real pride in America they wouldn’t be burning our flag, spitting on it, injuring law enforcers and waving Mexico’s flag. If the leftists approve of that do you think they’d approve of we Americans flocking to Mexico, refusing to learn Spanish and burning Mexicos flag while we wave ours and sing the Star Spangled Banner? Leftists are 💩.
Or call him Superheart like they did the feminist version of Ironman because they didn’t want to offend the woke by “defining her as a woman” by calling it Ironwoman.
So… Superman represents America but Captain *America* apparently is supposed to represent the entire planet? Hollywood and leftists absolutely cannot get their act together.
Heros once represented good, moral people who risked life and limb to protect innocent people from the forces of evil. Now they represent the politically left. This is why I don’t go to the theaters. I don’t want politics rubbed in my face from woke Hollywood. I watch movies from the 40’s -60’s repeatedly before this modern crap.
If Superman is considered to be an immigrant ,he is a model for all immigrants to the USA and has adopted its values. After all, Superman has never trampled on or burn the American flag, vandalized or set fire to government buildings or innocent businesses, attacked law enforcement, or participated in mob violence as a way of protest. That being said, one might argue that Superman became a citizen not through the immigration process but rather became a citizen of the United States when he was adopted by Jonathan and Martha Kent.
