Depp was masterful as Grindelwald. He gave that movie immense gravity and substance. The actor cast to replace him was a huge mistake – he lacked all of the characteristics, command, substance that Depp brought to Grindelwald. I think Mikkelsen killed off the FB franchise.
Even though he has had a questionabale personal life I still consider him as a great actor. I think this was a big mistake by WB and Disney. He is one of there bigest box office draws.
WB killed the Fantastic Beasts franchise, and the second Aquaman movie by using their sexism to oust Johnny Depp, but keep that terrible creature Amber Heard. I don’t trust anything the WB makes, anymore, because of that.
Big mistake to remove Depp from the Fantastic Beasts and Pirates of the Caribbean. WB and Disney lost their minds by not keeping him. He is a box office money maker giant, not Heard, who lies, can’t act, and is the abuser. Wake up you fools, bring JOHNNY DEPP BACK IN BOTH FRANCHISE !
I will always love Johnny Depp and the roles he has created, especially Captain Jack Sparrow. I will always pay to see him perform these roles, and refuse to see anyone else do them. Depp won his lawsuit against Heard, so why are the studios now defaming him?
It’s just shameful that they’d fire him based on rumors and tabloids. Amber only wanted fame and fortune. She didn’t care about that man. She only wanted to exploit him in order to get what she wanted. And now Johnny’s career has been altered but he’s still rich and Amber is forced to live elsewhere and is broke. So she got what she deserved but Johnny needs to be back on the big screen soon.
There will be no one that can do what Johnny Depp can do in PotC. I refuse to pander to anything new that JKRollins bigot puts out, but Johnny always makes his characters stand out simply because of his extremely great acting prowess. If he decides to reprise his roles- and I hope he does Captain Jack Sparrow- he should get a great percentage of the movies he is in, along with his acting fee.
