I was speaking to some people in line at Universal Studio’s and in the UK I heard that the cars themselves TELL ON YOU when you speed!!
So much for a supposed “freedom loving” country!! I mean monitors in your cars?? That’s enough to keep me from EVER traveling there as I KNOW I would get tagged in a rental car for FAR MORE than simply “38 in a 30″…

Over 1,000 pounds is pretty steep. For driving 8 miles over the 30 miles speed limit. I never even knew. She had a driving license

Did you read the whole article? She had previous tickets as well, which is why the penalty for this additional one was so high.
