Disney had a great reputation for years and has destroyed it with the ludicrous changes to the parks, lack of maintenace, attractions breaking down, adding unwanted venues and treatment of the guests.
50 years of WDW is becoming dilapidated. Refurbishment of what you have and stop the new until you get it fixed.

After 50 years plus of WDW and staying at many offerings of lodging this is my favorites: Caribbean Beach and Shades of Green. Others were overly expensive and did meet the hype set by Disney.
