That happened in March of this year, we were waiting for at least 40 minutes right in front of the flamingo pond. One of the other trucks broke down. The guides were very good, giving us lots of history! Kudos to Disney!
This would have terrified me because I am disabled and getting down that ladder would have been almost impossible. Then add me not being able to walk very far without a walking device or mobility scooter and I’m afraid I’d still be left on the tram
That’s nothing. About 22 years ago we were on one of the private backstage tours when our our truck actually broke down with a lion right next to us. It was scary as hell. Had to wait for another truck to come, scare away the lion, and take us back. I’ll never forget that trip.
You do realize they were evacuated where animals couldn’t get to them, right? They were literally about to pull into the unloading dock, where animals can’t get to. 😂

I would be gleeful if I had the opportunity to walk through the Kilimanjaro ride! What tragedy? Bring it on!

Many of those animals, if cooked right, are very tasty. Especially the Zebras and baby Giraffe.

I’d like to know what the Disney plan would be to evacuate me from the truck – I’m a double leg amputee in a wheelchair. 🤔 No ladder for me!

They have other options when someone can’t use the ladder. 😂

Obviously they wouldn’t make you you the ladder. They have other options if someone can’t use the ladder. 😂
