Of course they removed it. Those in charge of Disney currently, including Over and the current Board of Directors, want absolutely no part of the park that Walt built to exist anymore. They have abandoned the Disney adult. This of us that grew up with Disney during its peak golden years. Those of us that grew up with classic Disney. Those of us that understood Walts vision and dream.

All they want is to make money for shareholders and they don’t care if it means removing beloved attractions, destroying sections of the park permanently, creating absolutely forgettable movies and shows or charging you $20 for a cheeseburger while opening a bar in a park meant for children so that they can now witness first hand drunk, rude, violent upper class selfish entitled people.

They do not want the average family in their parks anymore. They don’t want kids in their parks. They want money. They want the single person or couple without kids that have tons of disposable income to buy whatever they put out at whatever high price they claim

That is why they are pricing out everyone. That is why they trip that once cost the average family a years savings is now a house payment. That is why there’s now bars in Adventureland at the base of Spaceship Earth and in the middle of Grand Floridian. Its why more high prices restaurants open and low cheap costing food courts disappear.

Walt envisioned a park where EVERYONE was welcomed. Igor wants a high priced luxury resort with some rides. He doesn’t care about a park that envisions the future. He doesn’t care about story lol characters but he loves gender swapping them. He doesn’t care if an attraction envisions the American dream. They want that erased

And by erasing something as simple as a penny press, well the new generations can’t miss it if it was never there. They will grow up ignorant to what Disney was and only know what Disney wants them to see now. And as we, the last of the true Disney adults, pass away. So do the memories of what truly was Disney so that the black hearted Villians running things now can manipulate and deceive the new guests to buy buy buy with no magical connection to anything.

We saw this start when they decided every resort needed a giant ugly Disney Vacation Club tower that barely anyone can afford. We saw it when Morocco pavilion closed and they made no attempt to replace it. We saw it when Disney Studios erased the actual Movie magic attractions. How they removed the backlot and animation tours, how they removed Muppets. How they have removed Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island

How they aren’t even going to repurpose Liberty Bell and are just dismantling it.

We see it with half the attractions at a park being closed off, but they still have no issue charging you full price.

We see it in how an annual passholder can’t even go to the park half the time. What’s the point of having an annual pass than. It was so you could go whenever you wanted.

Disney has become a corporation of greed and privilege. But just like the government wanting to get rid of the lower class, Disney forgets, eventually that next class up… they become the lower class. And once you get rid of them, you become the lower class. And without all those other classes, who will run your parks. Who will buy your mech. Because you won’t make profit off yourself. And eventually, just like predicted in the movie Escape from L.A. your Park enterprise, will crumble.

It’s a shame that all that matters are the rich now. Such a shame. It all started with a Mouse. It will all end with an Igor

Of course they are. Destroy the company from within. Out of touch liberal elites with not sense of history or nostalgia. This is akin to tearing down statues - destroy our history and replace it with lies

But by the way - I am a stock holder and Disney has not paid dividends or made money for years now.

It’s me again, another day another lead paint induced outburst, I knew eating those paint chips would turn out bad someday, anyway, sorry about the rant. One of these days I’ll control myself. Speaking of control, thank you to all the well-wishers. Tonight’s the night I think I’ll keep my sheets dry!

I was a big fan of Disney and been there 20 or more times. I just went recently and it lost its spark of fun and enchantment. The problem is it is so woke its disgusting. Men princesses where their workers with green and purple hair and face piercings. I know you must think I am old school but the children are so confused and as much as I. Strange place will never be back again. I hope someone comes up with a new political removed park and there are dress codes and rules they must follow we are to free and we Americans are beginning to look like fools of the world.

TOTALLY NOT WHAT WALT HAD IN MIND . IT WAS A FUN FAMILY ORIENTED PARK THAT SHOWERED FUN AND MAGIC ✨

I’m looking forward to the Pluto Casino, the Goofy Marijuana Dispensary, and the Micky Mouse Tavern!

      I will boycott as well
That is all that WDW Executives will understand is the loss of money, not guests.
Walt and Roy would be so disappointed the direction the Money mongers have taken Disney parks.
      Go Woke you Go Broke!

    Not a Damn one

With these changes, I will gladly step aside for others to enjoy. I still cherish fond memories of great times, but I don’t appreciate these changes. If this idea is so great, why didn’t it happen in DL first?

Sad that Walt built those memories that are now lost to the next generation who might learn to appreciate them. I no longer feel the excitement nor lightness felt when visiting WDW. No longer excitedly anticipating just a slight hope people will be kind and considerate in lines and in theaters. Maybe a feeling of nostalgia will still be found in between the new, very temporary, and unfeeling heartless attractions.

None. Will never go back. Its not the Place Walt Disney envisioned. Oh I don’t mind progress but this is now overkill

      1. Walt

It’s rape of Walt Disney’s vision.

  4. Hal

Yep! The insane (and the incompetent) are now running the asylum at Disney world.

I go to the parks often…have had annual passes to disney and uni for years. And like many I have not been on either attraction in years. Change while sometimes hard to accept is necessary in the theme park world. If you don’t change and adapt you get passed by.

That’s why they had bought up all the land they did to ADD not DESTROY. Did Universal destroy no they BUILT! And they are putting in crap attractions. Disney worked! It didn’t need to change . But Bob Iger and his Klan are all woke destructive idiots that THINK they know. the board sucks, management sucks and Disney now sucks

The ones in charge of Walt Disney World are horrible. They are changing way too much. My husband and I were looking forward to traveling there some day but now there might not even be a park to visit with all the changes they are doing. The great movie ride, splash mountain, and so many other attractions that we will not get to experience. The pressed penny machines were something I was looking forward to as that is something I have been collecting for years. I have never been to Walt Disney like my husband, and now I will never get to enjoy everything like he did. Walt is probably turning over in hospital grave because of all the unnecessary changes being done.

Our family have been coming to Disney for decades and we are sad to see this part of history disappear. The Riverboat has always been the heart and soul of Magic Kingdom and to replace it with a cartoon exhibit will certainly deteriorate the ambiance into a fairground. I am sure there is an appropriate area for “Cars” playground, but this historic piece of land is not it.
I feel that the powers that be will be making a grave mistake. So sad.

  8. David

No what Disney or should I say the Corporation has done is Bow to the Wokians and pretty much destroyed Walts Disney. sad

  9. I have been bringing my family to Disney for Decades and now one of my children is bringing her kiddos. It is not the same. I could cry with all that has been lost and the rediculous changes being made.
Cars land should be over in Hollywood Studios where the other Cars show is. Not where Frontier land was.
They have space. They could have left things be and added on for Villans.
Why oh why do people have to ruin the magic of Disney and the dream Walt had? We go to see the wonder in our grandsons eyes when they encounter a character or watch the fireworks. Or ride Haunted Mansion and the Pooh ride.
WDW was started with a mouse and a man’s dream. He wanted a place for family and friends and children of all ages. I know he’s crying in Heaven for all the damage done to his dreams.
My biggest question is… where is his family and what do they have to say about all of this? Don’t they care about the magic being ripped apart?😢
