    Why? Just why?

Because remakes are a trend with movie companies. They just love picking out old classics to spit on with “modern ideology”.

The Land Before Time is a beloved and timeless classic. It does not deserve an immature, left-wing update/remake. I definitely will NOT watch it if it happens.

Let’s see…the Sharptooth will probably be the poor misunderstood villain who’ll get a prequel movie afterwards.
So as not to scare the modern audience, Littlefoot’s mother’s death won’t happen on screen *if* she dies at all. After all, we shouldn’t scare children with the idea of death as being a part of life.
The dino kids, instead of killing Sharptooth they’ll talk to him so he’ll see the ere of his ways.
Spike will probably be able to talk and identify as nonbinary. Someone will be voiced by some Cajun. Probably Petrie or Spike. Sara will probably have a girlboss song.
So as not to spark racism, they’ll leave out the part where dinosaurs say they don’t associate with others not of their species.
There. I summed up the movie for you, therefore you don’t have to watch it. You’re welcome.

Little Foot’s mother will of course either not die or her death will be off screen so as not to scare the modern audience.
Sharptooth will be the poor misunderstood villain.
Sara will have a girlboss song.
Spike will be able to talk.
One of the kids will be Cajun. One of the kids will be woke.
So as not to spark r*cism they’ll leave out the part where the dinos say they don’t play with or associate with other dinos not of their own species.
There. I summed up the movie and you don’t have to watch it. You’re welcome.
