Johnny Depp is Captain Jack Sparrow. Without him there is no POC. The way Dead Men Tell No Tales should also look into continuing where that left off.

There is no “Pirates” without Johnny Depp. He has been abused badly by both Disney and the media. I would love to see him back again when he belongs…on the high seas. I would also like to see a Pirates of the Carribbean theme in the Disney Cruise Ships.
It would be wonderful to see Johnny Depp reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow. Pirates of the Caribbean is among my most beloved film series, and I hope Disney is considering this.
The elephant in the room is that he is 20 years older and 50 pounds heavier. He doesn’t present as a swashbuckler any longer. Maybe the new star’s mentor?
He can lose weight. And makeup can do a lot. But he has the ability to do it. There’s no POC without Johnny. Disney should take the hint…after Snow White, and all of that cluster, bringing Johnny back should be a cinch.
While Johnny has aged and added a few pounds like the rest or us there is no Pirates without Depp…every one knows it so Disney cough up the cash and the Alpaca’s and Johnny get a trainer and lets get back to the business of making fun movies again!!
As a Disney fan and shareholder, I am so excited to see Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow again. I agree with others….no Depp, no Pirates. We need a GOOD Pirates of the Caribbean movie. One that makes more sense and on track with the first 2.
It would be awesome to have Johnnie Depp back in a new Poc movie. I don’t know if it’s enough to be able to redeem themselves. But it’s a start.
