I’m sorry but I think the first question is why was the child left alone without a guardian or parent near by. Of course he was startled kids can get scared when any of the characters come up to them stormtroopers, Mickey, Goofy, you just do not leave your child unsupervised. If someone was close maybe the child would may have gotten that scared or the parents could have prevented the stroller from tipping over.

100% agree. People are way too eager to deny their responsibility and get a few bucks out of it too. There’s been enough dumbing down of classic attractions already.

Parents were the ones who should be responsible for this. Why was child left alone. !!

Sorry, you cannot sue a Disney Cast Member who was the ONLY PERSON nearby YOUR child in a STROLLER! These awful parents who ditch their kids at Disney parks thinking it’s a giant daycare center need to lose these kids to Child Protective Services. These ‘parents’ will lose this case.

Parents need to be responsible for their children. Agree with previous comment, they want to try and make a few dollars, but hopefully they do not. As we say, grow up.

Are you kidding me ??? What a scam !!! You leave a kid alone in a stroller and he falls out and it’s Disneys fault ??? Just a money grab !!! The parent should have been cited for leaving the kid alone !!! Who’s representing this lady ??? Jackie Childs ??? lol

Parents at fault for leaving the child alone. How old and how big was this child that he/she tipped over the stroller? Gong to sue the manufacturer of the stroller also. Giant money grab.

100% on the parents. You don’t leave a child in a stroller unattended. If I was the judge I’d toss this case and make the parents pay Disney’s legal fees.

“The suit claims Miller’s young son was sitting in a stroller “without an adult nearby” when the performer approached.”

If Disney doesn’t manage to get this just thrown out, their lawyer should, and probably will, just beat this circumstance into the jury’s mind.

It’s possible that the only reason the Stormtrooper approached the kid was that he didn’t see anyone around and was coming over to see if he was okay.
