When planning a trip to Disney World, there are a lot of things travelers need to be aware of. Not only will they need to grab a hotel room, figure out transportation, and buy tickets, they will also need to book dining reservations. Dining plays a huge role in a Walt Disney World vacation, but with limited time (and money), choosing the right place to sit down and eat can be overwhelming.
We have plenty of guides when it comes to dining at Walt Disney World, though in general, it’s hard to go wrong. Sure, there are a few places we’d recommend avoiding, but for the most part, food is something Disney World does quite well, especially at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Intended to continue the story and stylings of Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park, Animal Kingdom Lodge features some of the most detailed and interesting rooms on Walt Disney World property. However, the fun and theming don’t stop there, with Animal Kingdom Lodge also being home to two incredible eateries, one of which was recently discussed online.

Reddit user TheMegaPancake sparked a conversation after sharing their “unique” dining experience at Boma, one of two sit-down restaurants at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Titled “Boma ruined my life,” the post immediately got a lot of reactions and responses from the community.
“There’s no going back from this,” stated the guest. “Me and my girlfriend went to Boma for the very first time (our first Disney world trip). We are staying off property and heard good things so decided on a whim we could fit it in our budget and it would be a neat thing to do after spending yesterday at Magic Kingdom.”
The user explained that every dish was “amazing” and that Boma might have been the best meal he and his girlfriend had ever eaten.
“Neither of us have any idea how we are going to survive the plain tasteless food that awaits us once we leave,” the guest added. “I am already counting down the days till we can come back to Boma should our taste buds survive.”

Featuring a rich assortment of American and African dishes, Boma is one of the highest-rated restaurants at Walt Disney World. Boma is open for breakfast and dinner, making it a great way to start or end your day at the parks.
Boma is hardly the only fine-dining restaurant guests can visit during their time at Walt Disney World, as the resort features dozens of world-class restaurants and eateries. Other favorites include Le Cellier at EPCOT, Tiffins at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Cinderella’s Royal Table at the Magic Kingdom, and Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Of course, Disney World is a theme park at the end of the day, meaning guests can also find staples like fried chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, and French fries.
