    It won’t be a “faithful ” adaptation by disregarding the fact that Snape is specifically described as having “sallow skin”. For anyone who doesn’t know the definition, sallow means pale & yellowish.

      I think it is completely fair for him to say he hasn’t been “attuned to it”. He is trying to sidestep the controversy and make it more about what he’s received from her.

      I don’t personally agree with Rowling on everything, but I can still like her books without agreeing with her.

    More than a small number of fans are upset about the Snape casting. It’s stupid. Done purely to tick a box.

      I don’t agree. No one can compare with Rickman as Snape. I can see why they went unconventional for the role.
