They’ve been looking inside wallets for years. They’re wearing gloves and in full view – it’s not like they’re taking the wallet away from you to search it. Some wallets are large.
If they want to search your wallet then simply ask them what are they specifically looking for because you weren’t able to hide a weapon inside of it and Disney already got your cash before you got in the security line.
Seriously, the best advice is to pack light. I love it when they insist on seeing inside the pouch that holds my blood glucose meter, test strips, needles and Insulin. I warn them that it contains hazmat materials, but I leave out that it usually has both new and used needles (always capped and safe). They figure it out pretty quickly and then get what I was telling them.
My eyeglass case always got me pulled over until one security guard told me to not bring the case. Then no problem. They are just trying to keep us safe in this crazy world we live in.
I was dinged with Rolaids Soft Chews. They are individually wrapped in foil paper, so it sets it off. I have been told that lots of buttons will set it off, too. I agree that I am glad they are strict, but I believe they do need more personnel to get people through. Also, there are some who think they are police and take their time. I think a time limit could be added.

They should use the stadium policies. Clear bags only!
